It started with a simple question:
Why didn't a product like this already exist?
As pelvic floor physical therapists and mothers, Ivy Colbert and Macy Basterrechea spent years helping women navigate pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and pelvic health challenges. Along the way, they heard the same frustrations over and over again: women wanted support that felt comfortable, effective, and designed for real life but nothing on the market truly met those needs. They knew women deserved more than choosing between compression or absorbency. They deserved both.
What began as a conversation between colleagues quickly evolved into years of research, testing, and refinement. Guided by clinical expertise and their own experiences as mothers, Ivy and Macy created Embodie to redefine what support can look and feel like. Every detail was intentionally designed to help women feel more comfortable, more confident, and more supported through every stage of life.
Women weren't asking for perfection...
They were asking to feel supported.
Women shared the same frustrations again and again; feeling dismissed, told their symptoms were “normal,” or forced to choose between bulky medical garments and products that looked beautiful but offered little support.
Embodie exists because women deserve products that meet them where they are.
Everything we create begins with the same belief: women deserve thoughtful support through every stage of life. These principles guide every collection, every product, and every decision we make.
